From Paro International Airport (PBH)
Distance: Approximately 51 km
Estimated Travel Time: About 1.5 hours by car
- Arrive at Paro International Airport, which is the only international airport in Bhutan.
- Acquire a local taxi or book a car through your travel agent or hotel.
- Drive towards Thimphu on the Paro-Thimphu highway.
- Upon reaching Thimphu, follow the signs to the Dochula Pass.
From Thimphu City Center
Distance: Approximately 22 km
Estimated Travel Time: About 45 minutes by car
- Hire a taxi or book a car tour to Dochula Pass.
- Drive north from Thimphu city center on the Thimphu-Punakha highway.
- Continue the ascent until reaching the pass.
