Gaumukh Temple, named after the natural spring in the shape of a cow’s head, is an ancient Hindu temple located in the serene hill station of Mount Abu in Rajasthan, India. The temple is reached by ascending 700 steps cut into a rocky incline, leading to the tranquil setting that overlooks a deep valley and provides panoramic views. It is dedicated to Saint Vashistha, who, according to mythology, performed a great fire sacrifice at this site.
