Trevor's Tank is a quaint and picturesque location nestled in the lush landscape of Mount Abu, the only hill station in the desert state of Rajasthan, India. Named after the British engineer Col. G. H. Trevor who built it in 1897, Trevor’s Tank is a manmade crocodile breeding spot located about 5 kilometers from the main town of Mount Abu. This place is a nature lover’s paradise offering a scenic retreat with a serene atmosphere. The tank is actually a small reservoir designed for crocodile breeding but has also become a haven for several species of birds. It's a popular spot for bird watching, especially during the early morning hours when the birds are most active. The surrounding wooded hills and rocky outcrops provide a perfect backdrop for photography enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy tranquil walks along the pathways, relishing the lush greenery and occasionally spotting wildlife.
