Govind Dev Ji Temple is a sacred Hindu temple located in the Pink City of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is situated in the City Palace complex and is dedicated to Lord Krishna who is worshiped here by the name of 'Govind Dev Ji'. The temple, an epitome of spirituality and vibrant cultural heritage, is believed to have been constructed in the early 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh II. The idol of Lord Krishna housed in the temple is said to have a striking resemblance to Krishna's form during his incarnation on Earth. The image of the deity was brought from Vrindavan by the Rajput king, Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. The temple features a magnificent blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural elements, with beautiful ceilings, intricate marble work, and elaborate carvings. Devotees flock here to partake in the aartis and bhogs that are performed seven times a day, immersing themselves in devotion and seeking blessings.
