Gwalior Fort, located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, is an architectural marvel and an important historical landmark. Perched on a rocky hill called Gopachal, this fort dominates the city skyline and is one of the most invincible forts in India. The fort's strategic position has helped it withstand several battles throughout its history. Spanning over 3 km in length and 35 meters in height, this fort features a robust defensive structure with two main palaces, Gurjari Mahal and Man Mandir, which were built by Man Singh Tomar. The fort precinct is also home to numerous water tanks, temples such as Saas Bahu Ka Mandir, Teli Ka Mandir, and the famous zero temple called Chaturbhuj Temple. It is adorned with exquisite stone carvings and vibrant blue ceramic tiles. The fort complex has witnessed various dynasties and has been in the control of the Rajputs, Mughals, and even the British during its long history.
