Inspired by the famous Konark Sun Temple in Odisha, it was constructed in 1988 by the renowned industrialist G.D. Birla. The temple is dedicated to the Sun God and is known for its exquisite red sandstone and white marble structure that stands out against the backdrop of the city. The Sun Temple boasts intricate carvings, chariot wheels, and horses similar to its Odishan counterpart.
