Best Time To Visit Kaba Gandhi No Delo (Rajkot) In 2026 - 2027

Visit Kaba Gandhi No Delo for a Glimpse into Gandhi's Early Life

Rajkot's famed historical landmark, Kaba Gandhi No Delo, was the childhood residence of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, better known as Mahatma Gandhi. This place, now a museum, is a tribute to Gandhi's early years and is located in the heart of Rajkot, Gujarat. When planning a visit, the best times are during the winter months, from October to March. During this period, the weather is pleasant with moderate temperatures, ensuring a comfortable visit to the museum. The summer months, from April to June, can be extremely hot and hence are less ideal for visitors.

Additionally, UNESCO declared October 2nd, Gandhi's birthday, as the International Day of Non-Violence, making it an especially significant time to visit. If you can time your trip around this date, you'll likely find a series of events and activities commemorating Gandhi's philosophy and contributions to India's independence. Nonetheless, to truly appreciate your visit, consider avoiding public holidays and the peak tourist season, when the museum might be overcrowded. Morning hours are usually the best time to explore Kaba Gandhi No Delo, as you can take your time through the exhibits without the larger crowds that often gather later in the day.
