Kalimath Temple is part of a circuit that includes the famous Kedarnath Temple and is visited by devotees from all over the country, especially during the Navratras when the temple sees a large influx of pilgrims. It is believed that the lower part of Goddess Kali is worshipped in this temple. Unlike many other temples, the main deity is not idolized here explicitly. Instead, the deity is worshipped in a mystical, invisible form, which amplifies the spiritual aura of the temple.
