Ukhimath Tourism

Ukhimath is a small pilgrimage town in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It stands at an elevation of approximately 1,300 meters above sea level and serves as the winter seat for the deities of Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar when the temples are closed due to snowfall. This town is an important religious destination and a gateway to several Himalayan treks, including the trek to Deoria Tal, a high altitude lake.
