Kempty Falls is one of the most iconic waterfalls located in the beautiful hill station of Mussoorie in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is perched at an altitude of about 1,364 meters and serves as a wonderful picnic spot for tourists as well as locals. The falls are situated on the hilly tracks of Uttarakhand, 15 km from Mussoorie on the Chakrata Road. This stunning waterfall cascades down from a height of 40 feet, creating a pool at the bottom that is a popular spot for swimming and bathing. The name of the fall is derived from the terms 'camp' and 'tea', suggesting the elaborate tea parties that were once organized here. Over the years, Kempty Falls has become a favored destination for travelers seeking respite from the heat of the plains. The surrounding cliffs and lush greenery provide a serene ambiance.
