Kirti Mandir, situated in the cultural city of Vadodara, Gujarat, is a monument of historical significance and architectural marvel. Built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1936 to commemorate the cremation of his family members, Kirti Mandir is also known as 'the Temple of Fame'. The structure illustrates a seamless blend of Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, and Islamic architectural styles, demonstrating the secular vision of the Maharaja. The central shikhara soars to a height of 33 meters, symbolizing the 33 crore deities of Hindu mythology. The intricately carved murals and statues that adorn the walls portray various gods, goddesses, and heroes from Indian history. The mandir is located within the larger complex of the Gaekwad family's crematorium, which is close to the picturesque Sursagar Lake, making the sight even more captivating.

Historical place , Just average
Found closed due to Corona. Plan visit if time permits. Offer Prayers at Datttreya Temple in same compound which is 150 Years old
