Sayaji Baug, also known as Kamati Baug, is situated in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. The garden was dedicated to the citizens of Vadodara by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1879. It is the largest garden in Western India, spreading over 113 acres. The park is home to rich flora, featuring more than 98 species of trees. It includes various attractions such as the Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery, the Sardar Patel Planetarium, and the Sayaji Baug Zoo. The garden also contains a flower clock, an operational toy train, and an ornamental gateway constructed in Burmese teak wood. Its vast expanse makes it a perfect spot for leisurely walks, picnics, and family outings. The meticulously maintained lawns, fountains, and historical structures within the park make it a significant cultural heritage site. The park's toy train, known as the 'joy train', takes visitors around the garden, offering a delightful experience, particularly for children.

Walk-in-Aviary is mesmerizing
Must visit for young kids. Afternoon are hot, so plan accordingly. There are many big animals (lion,tiger n leopard). However, main attraction is the walk-in-aviary.

I went there for soldierathon. I walked one round of the garden about 2.5 km.
Sayajibaug is a heart of vadodara. Very big garden. Every visitors must visit Sayajibaug. There are museum, zoo, aquarium, land - clock and many more.

Sayaji baud is also known as kamati baug, GEM of Vadodra. In park they have everything. Toy train, Zoo, Planetorium, Museum, Jogging track, Walking track and above all playing songs through out park.T..
