Mamleshwar Temple, also known as Amareshwar or Amreshwar Temple, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the holy city of Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh, India. This sacred temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines in India and holds immense religious significance. The best time to visit Mamleshwar Temple is during the cooler months, starting from October to March. During this period, the weather is pleasant with moderate temperatures, which makes it ideal for temple visits and exploring the spiritual ambiance of the area. It is also conducive for participating in the various religious ceremonies and rituals that take place in the temple.

The temple also witnesses peak activity during specific festivals and auspicious events such as Maha Shivaratri. Celebrated with great fervor, Maha Shivaratri falls in February or March each year, depending on the Hindu lunar calendar. Devotees from across the country flock to the temple to offer prayers and observe the festivities. Additionally, the winter months offer a conducive environment for sightseeing in and around Omkareshwar, as well as for taking a dip in the sacred Narmada River.
