During this time, the weather in Kerala is relatively cool and dry, providing a comfortable environment for tourists and pilgrims alike. The temperature typically ranges from 18°C to 30°C, which is pleasant compared to the hot and humid conditions prevalent during the summer months. Additionally, this is the post-monsoon season in Kerala, ensuring that the greenery of the state is in full bloom, enhancing the natural beauty surrounding the temple.

Visitors may also want to consider planning their trip to coincide with various festivals celebrated at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, such as Painkuni Festival and Alpashy Festival, which occur usually in March-April and October-November respectively. The temple is known for its elaborate rituals and processions during these festivals, offering a unique insight into the local culture and religious practices. The Navaratri festival, which is generally celebrated in September or October, is another auspicious time for a visit, with special musical performances and cultural events taking place in the temple premises.
