Best Time to Visit Rushikonda Beach, Visakhapatnam

Located in the port city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Rushikonda Beach is famed for its pristine sands and crystal clear waters. The best time to visit Rushikonda Beach is during the winter months from October to March. During this period, the climate is refreshingly cool and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C. The gentle sea breeze during these months makes it perfect for beach activities such as swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. It is also the ideal time for sightseeing and participating in the local festivals that occur in the region.

Visitors are advised to avoid the summer months from April to June, as temperatures can soar up to 40°C, leading to a less comfortable experience. Similarly, the monsoon season from July to September should be avoided due to heavy rainfall, which can restrict beach activities and cause rough sea conditions. Nonetheless, if you find yourself visiting during the off-peak seasons, you can still enjoy the scenic beauty of the beach, albeit with caution. Overall, to make the most of your visit, planning your trip during the recommended cooler months would ensure a more enjoyable and comfortable vacation at Rushikonda Beach.
