The best time to visit Sarangkot for clear weather and excellent views of the Himalayas is typically during the autumn months, from September to November. This season offers crystal clear skies most of the time, ensuring unobstructed views of the Annapurna range and the beautiful sunrises for which Sarangkot is famous. The moderate temperatures during this period are ideal for making the early morning trek to Sarangkot's viewpoint without the discomfort of extreme cold or the heat and humidity found in other times of the year. Moreover, the post-monsoon greenery adds to the aesthetic beauty of the lush landscapes surrounding Sarangkot, making your experience even more memorable.

Alternatively, spring, which spans from March to May, is another favorable season to visit Sarangkot. The weather is warm and the skies remain clear, providing great opportunities for paragliding as well as photography of the blooming rhododendrons and terraced fields. Therefore, for the best visibility and milder temperatures, aiming for a morning excursion to Sarangkot is advisable during this time. During both autumn and spring seasons, travelers are encouraged to bring along light layers for comfort, as early mornings and evenings can still be quite cool, especially at the higher elevations of Sarangkot.
