Sem Mukhem Temple Tourism

Sem Mukhem Temple is a significant religious site located in Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. This sacred temple is dedicated to Nag Raja, a serpent deity, and is situated at an elevation of around 2903 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It is perched atop a hill and is approximately 7 kilometers from the town of Narendra Nagar. The place has a strong mythological connection, as it is believed to be the spot where the serpent king was enthroned by the Pandavas during their exile in the Mahabharata.
