Sem Mukhem Temple is a significant religious site located in Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. This sacred temple is dedicated to Nag Raja, a serpent deity, and is situated at an elevation of around 2903 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It is perched atop a hill and is approximately 7 kilometers from the town of Narendra Nagar. The place has a strong mythological connection, as it is believed to be the spot where the serpent king was enthroned by the Pandavas during their exile in the Mahabharata. During the annual fair in November, the temple witnesses a large influx of visitors for festivities.
