Best Time To Visit Shiv Bari Temple (Bikaner) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Shiv Bari Temple, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India

Located in the fortified city of Bikaner, the Shiv Bari Temple is a spiritual oasis attracting tourists and devotees throughout the year. However, the best time to visit the temple is during the cooler months of October to March. During this period, the climate in Bikaner is pleasant with minimal rainfall and temperatures ranging from a comfortable 10°C to 23°C. This is an ideal time for sightseeing and temple visits as the days are sunny and warm while the nights are cool. Moreover, the famous Camel Festival, usually held in January, adds a cultural extravaganza to your spiritual journey, making it a perfect time to explore the city's heritage and vibrant festivities.

Visitors should aim to avoid the summer months from April to June, as Bikaner experiences intense heat, with temperatures often soaring above 40°C. The scorching heat can be quite challenging for outdoor activities and temple exploration. The monsoon season from July to September brings sporadic rainfall, which may offer relief from the heat but can also lead to unpredictable travel plans due to waterlogged streets or occasional flooding. Therefore, planning your visit in the cooler months ensures not only a comfortable trip but also a more fulfilling experience of the Shiv Bari Temple's spiritual ambiance and the cultural heritage of Bikaner.
