Best Time To Visit Shivaji Park Visakhapatnam (Visakhapatnam (Vizag)) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Shivaji Park, Visakhapatnam

The ideal time to visit Shivaji Park in Visakhapatnam is during the winter months, which span from October to March. During this period, the weather in Visakhapatnam is generally pleasant, with moderate temperatures that range from 15°C to 30°C, creating a perfect environment for outdoor activities and sightseeing. Winter is notably the most comfortable season for tourists, as the heat is bearable and the humidity levels drop significantly compared to the other times of the year. Visitors can enjoy long walks in the park, indulge in leisure activities, and relish the natural beauty of the surroundings without the discomfort of extreme weather conditions.

Alternatively, the transition periods of early summer and monsoon, between March to April and September to October respectively, can also be considered for visiting Shivaji Park. However, summers from May to June can be extremely hot with temperatures soaring above 35°C, which might not be suitable for some visitors. The monsoon season, from July to September, brings heavy rainfall to the region, which could interrupt outdoor activities and make visiting the park less enjoyable. Therefore, to make the most of your visit to Shivaji Park, aiming for the winter season would be your best bet for a pleasant experience.
