A long strenous climb but worth it
A long strenuous climb, especially if hot, over 3000 steps which can up to around 2 hours.
Once at the top there is a huge complex of over 900 Jain temples.
Very friendly pilgrims and a fascinating ..

This temple is at hill called Sentrujay Dungar, it has about 3500 steps, Adinath is the 1st lord of Jainism , this is the highly religious place for jains, this is the main temple of Palitana, I visit..

Main temple of Palitana
Adinath is 1st Lord of Jainism and this temple on the top of hill is dedicated to him. Huge and beautiful idol is kept in the temple. Highly religious place for Jains
