How to Reach Simply Bhan, Thimphu, Bhutan

By Air

For international travelers, the first step is to fly into Bhutan's Paro International Airport (PBH). Airlines such as Druk Air and Bhutan Airlines operate flights from various countries. From the airport, Thimphu is approximately 51 kilometers away, which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive.

By Road

If you are already in Bhutan, Simply Bhutan in Thimphu is well-connected by road:

From Paro: The drive from Paro to Thimphu takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes along the Paro-Thimphu highway.
From Phuentsholing: The journey is about 6 hours drive and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscapes.

By Taxi or Public Bus

Taxis are widely available throughout Bhutan. From Paro, you can hire a taxi directly to Simply Bhutan which can be more comfortable and faster. Public buses also run between major towns and Thimphu. The bus station in Thimphu is Kuensel Phodrang Bus Terminal, from where you can take a short taxi ride to Simply Bhutan.

Guided Tours

Many visitors opt for guided tours which include transport to various attractions including Simply Bhutan. These tours can be arranged through registered Bhutanese tour operators or international travel agencies partnered with Bhutanese counterparts.

Directions from Thimphu City Center

If you are already in Thimphu, Simply Bhutan is located near the Youth Centre in the capital:

Head towards the National Stadium on Doebum Lam.
From the stadium, continue west towards Changlam.
Turn onto Gaden Lam and proceed until you reach Simply Bhutan on your right.

Walking from the center of Thimphu may take about 20-30 minutes.
