Best Time To Visit Adhar Devi Temple (Mount Abu) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Adhar Devi Temple, Mount Abu

The Adhar Devi Temple, also known as Arbuda Devi Temple, is perched atop a rocky outcrop in the picturesque hill station of Mount Abu, Rajasthan. While Mount Abu has a relatively mild climate all year round due to its elevation, the best time to visit the Adhar Devi Temple is from September to December. During these months, the monsoon season has ended, and the weather is pleasant, not too hot or too cold, which is ideal for climbing the 365 steps to the temple. This period also corresponds with the most auspicious Hindu festivals like Navratri and Diwali, when the temple is beautifully decorated and participates in vibrant festivities.

Another favorable time to visit is during the cooler winter months from January to March. This is the peak season for tourism in Mount Abu, so expect some crowd, but the crisp air and serene atmosphere offer a spiritual ambiance that makes the journey to the temple more fulfilling. Summers, particularly April to June, can be quite warm, making the climb a bit strenuous for some visitors. The monsoon season, while bringing in lush greenery to the Aravalli Range, can make the steps slippery and is usually advised against for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Regardless of when you visit, ensure you wear appropriate footwear and carry water, especially during the climb.
