Best Time To Visit Dudhsagar Falls (South Goa) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Dudhsagar Falls

The ideal time to visit Dudhsagar Falls in South Goa, India is during the post-monsoon months, from October to May. During this period, the monsoon rains have replenished the water levels, ensuring that the falls are a breathtaking sight with abundant water cascading down their four-tiered structure. October and November are particularly noteworthy as the surrounding flora is still lush and green for a majestic backdrop, and the weather is relatively cool and pleasant compared to the hot summer months.

However, visiting between December and February offers the best balance of comfortable weather and optimal waterfall flow. This time frame avoids the heavy tourist rush of peak season around Christmas and New Year, providing a more serene experience. Temperatures during these months are moderate, making it comfortable for trekking to the viewing points or participating in other outdoor activities. It's important to note that the falls are inaccessible during the peak of the monsoon season (June to September) due to high water levels and strong currents, which can make the journey dangerous.
