Best Time to Visit Guru Shikhar in Mount Abu

Guru Shikhar, the highest peak of the Aravalli Range located in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The best time to visit this serene spot is between the months of November and March. During this period, the weather in Mount Abu is pleasant and cool, with temperatures ranging from about 12°C to 29°C. This makes it an ideal time for tourists to enjoy the scenic beauty without the discomfort of extreme temperatures. The clear skies also provide a perfect backdrop for photography enthusiasts to capture the picturesque views from the peak. Moreover, the winter months are great for engaging in outdoor activities like trekking up to the temple, without the worry of heat exhaustion that is common in the summer months.

Visitors should also consider that the monsoon season, stretching from July to September, brings significant rainfall to the region, which can make trekking challenging and the paths slippery. While the greenery is lush and the waterfalls are in full flow during the monsoons, it may not be the safest time for all tourists. Summers, spanning from April to June, can be extremely hot with temperatures soaring up to 34°C, which might not be comfortable for many visitors. Hence, to make the most of your visit to Guru Shikhar, planning a trip during the cooler winter months ensures a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
