Pavagadh Hill is a renowned historical and religious site located in the Panchmahal district near Champaner town of Gujarat, India. The hill is an extinct volcano and rises approximately 800 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the plains below. It features rugged terrain dotted with historical monuments, including impressive fortifications, palaces, religious buildings, residential precincts, water installations, and agriculture structures, all echoing the prehistoric cultural landscape of the region. The entire area was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004, which has significantly boosted both its protection and importance as a tourist destination.
