Rishikund Tourism

Rishikund, also known as 'Sage's Pond', is a natural hot water spring located in the spiritual town of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, India. The ancient pond is believed to be blessed by the Goddess Yamuna by filling the pond with her sacred water. It is adjacent to the Raghunath Temple dedicated to Lord Rama and his wife Sita. Surrounded by old shrubberies and nestled near the Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three holy rivers - the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the Saraswati, Rishikund attracts pilgrims and tourists alike who come to seek solace and spiritual enlightenment. The pond reflects the image of the Raghunath Temple, creating a serene and picturesque scene particularly during early mornings and at dusk. With its calming environment and significant mythological linkage, Rishikund is a place where visitors can immerse in meditation or simply enjoy the tranquil ambiance. The religious significance and scenic backdrop make it a popular spot for rituals and a must-visit location in Rishikesh.
