According to Hindu mythology, a dip in the confluence of these rivers is said to absolve one of all sins, encouraging thousands of pilgrims to visit every year. The ghat comes alive each evening with the Maha Aarti, a devotional ritual that uses fire as an offering. During this time, the ghat is illuminated by the glow of the numerous floating diyas, with the enchanting sounds of ringing bells and chants, creating a truly ethereal experience. The overall atmosphere is serene and peaceful, promoting contemplation and spiritual renewal among visitors. Moreover, Triveni Ghat serves as a starting point for the famous 14 km trek to the ancient temple of Neelkanth Mahadev.
