The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, also known as Sidi Saiyyed Ki Jali, is an architectural marvel located in the heart of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Constructed in 1573, the last year of the Sultanate of Gujarat, it is famous for its intricately carved stone latticework windows, known as 'jalis'. These 'jalis' are an outstanding example of Indo-Islamic architecture and display the amalgamation of cultures. The mosque was built by Sidi Saiyyed, a general in the army of the last Sultan, Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III. The mosque is relatively small compared to other mosques in the city but is unmatched in terms of its artistic splendor. Of the ten semi-circular windows, the two at the western wall which depict the design of a tree with intertwining branches, have gained international recognition as one of the finest examples of carved stone window grilles. This design, titled the 'Tree of Life', has come to symbolize the city of Ahmedabad and has also inspired the logo of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Despite its proximity to the bustling city life, the mosque exudes a serene atmosphere that invites introspection and admiration.

Very small structure, however famous for Jaali work
A very small structure, contrary to the other mosques. Mainly famous for intricate Jaali work, depicting the famous Tree of life. Except for that there is nothing much to see.
