Bhadra Fort, situated in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, stands as a symbol of the city's rich historical and cultural legacy. Constructed in 1411 AD during the reign of Ahmad Shah I, the fort derives its name from the Bhadra Kali Temple within its premises. This majestic structure boasts exquisite Islamic architecture with beautiful arches, ornate balconies, and intricately carved windows. It served as the city's citadel, enclosing palaces, mosques, and massive gates. Having undergone several restorations, it now is a prime attraction, housing government offices and hosts vibrant cultural events, especially during local festivals.
