Best Time to Visit Sunset Point, Mount Abu

The ideal time to visit Sunset Point in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, is during the cooler months from September to March. During these months, the weather is pleasant, with temperatures ranging from a comfortable 12°C to 29°C. This is the perfect climate for tourists to enjoy the breathtaking sunset views without the discomfort of the scorching heat that is typical in the summer months. Additionally, the skies are mostly clear during this season, providing an unobstructed view of the sun dipping below the horizon. Visitors should consider reaching the point well before sunset to secure a good spot as it can get quite crowded, especially during the weekends and holidays.

It is important to note that the monsoon months from July to September can also be quite enchanting, as the lush greenery of the surrounding hills is at its peak after the rejuvenating rains. However, this period might also bring about heavy fog and clouds which can obscure the view, thus slightly diminishing the sunset experience. Regardless of the season, it’s recommended to bring along a light jacket or shawl as it can get chilly in the evenings. Make sure to wear comfortable footwear as there’s a bit of a walk required to reach the Sunset Point from the parking area.
