Vishnu Prayag is one of the five confluences (Panch Prayag) of the Alaknanda River, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It's a sacred place where the impetuous Vishnu Ganga (which later becomes the Alaknanda) meets the Dhauliganga River. The site is named after Lord Vishnu, who is believed to have blessed the land. Vishnu Prayag has a tranquil and spiritual environment, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan ranges. A small temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is situated near the confluence, adding to the spiritual significance of the place.
