Vishrambaug Wada is a historical mansion situated in the heart of Pune city, Maharashtra, India. An epitome of the Peshwa era's architectural marvel, Vishrambaug Wada has stood the test of time and reminisces the grandeur of the Maratha period. Built in 1807, by Peshwa Bajirao II, it is a fine illustration of a traditional Marathi mansion enriched with wooden pillars and lattice work. The mansion spans three storeys and exhibits ornate balconies known as 'jharokas.' Although a part of the Wada is not as well-preserved, efforts have been made to maintain its regality. The Wada now accommodates several offices, has an in-house post office and is also utilized as a venue for cultural activities. It also houses a museum that displays artifacts from the Peshwa era, offering visitors a glimpse into Pune's cultural heritage. The teak woodwork and exquisite carvings on the doorframes and ceilings showcase the craftsmanship of the era.
