Brindavan Gardens is a showpiece of Mysore's grandeur and a testament to the engineering prowess of the erstwhile Kingdom of Mysore. Spread across 60 acres near the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam built across the river Kaveri, the garden is about 21 kilometers away from the city center of Mysuru, Karnataka. Renowned for its symmetric design and terrace gardens, the park is a haven of lush greenery and an assortment of flora. The main attraction is its musical fountain, which presents a harmonized water dance choreographed to lights and music. This iconic park, conceptualized by Sir Mirza Ismail, then the Diwan of Mysore, was completed in 1932. It's inspired by the Shalimar Gardens of Kashmir. The Brindavan Gardens is famed for its ethereal beauty, well-manicured lawns, and an ambience that is a blend of serenity and delight.
