Best Time to Visit Brindavan Gardens, Mysore

The most ideal time to visit the Brindavan Gardens in Mysore, also known as Mysuru, is between the months of September to March. This period marks the post-monsoon and winter seasons in Karnataka, resulting in a pleasant climate that is well-suited for strolling around the gardens and enjoying the beautifully laid out terraces, fountains, and lush green lawns. Furthermore, the temperatures during these months are comfortably cool, typically ranging from 15°C to 30°C, which enhances the visitors' overall experience.

Visitors should particularly consider evenings for their visit, as the garden's musical fountains show is a sight to behold, usually starting at around 7:00 PM each day. The show is a harmonious combination of water, light, and music, and is a highlight of the Brindavan Gardens, attracting scores of tourists. Additionally, during this period, the festive seasons such as Dussehra light up the entire city of Mysore, offering a cultural extravaganza that can make the visit even more memorable. Nevertheless, weekends and public holidays can be quite crowded, so if you're looking for a more serene experience, a weekday visit could be preferable.
