Best Time To Visit Mandore Gardens (Jodhpur) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Mandore Gardens

The best time to visit Mandore Gardens in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is between the months of October and March. During this period, the weather in Jodhpur is most pleasant, with cooler temperatures and minimal rainfall, which create an ideal setting for exploring the extensive gardens and historical structures. The winter season, especially, is marked by clear sunny days, making it perfect for tourists to enjoy the outdoor attractions without the oppressive heat that is experienced during the summer months. Average daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), which is suitable for long walks amidst the lush greenery, and the evenings get relatively cooler, enhancing the experience of witnessing the beautiful sunsets over the garden.

Furthermore, planning a visit during the winter season may also coincide with various festivals and events that take place in Jodhpur, adding an extra layer of cultural experience to your trip. For instance, the famous Marwar Festival, which showcases the folk music and dance of the region, usually takes place in October, and attending it can be a wonderful add-on to your Mandore Gardens itinerary. However, it's worth noting that this can also be the peak tourist season for the region, so one should expect larger crowds and potentially higher prices for accommodations. To have a more tranquil experience, you could consider visiting during the shoulder months, namely early October or late March, when the weather remains favorable but there are fewer tourists.
