Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is a notable attraction in the desert state of Rajasthan, known for its diverse flora and fauna. The sanctuary, spread across the Aravalli mountain range, is a refreshing retreat from the region's otherwise arid landscape. The best time to visit Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is between October and March. During this period, the weather is comparatively cooler and more pleasant, making it an ideal time for wildlife spotting and nature walks. The daytime temperatures are comfortably warm, while the nights can be cool, particularly from December to February. Wildlife enthusiasts and photographers will find this period perfect as the animals are more active and visible in the mild weather.

In contrast, the summer months from April to June are extremely hot in Rajasthan, which can make daytime excursions in the sanctuary quite challenging. Moreover, the monsoon season, spanning from July to September, although brings lush greenery to the landscape, may also cause inconvenience in terms of slippery paths and limited animal sightings. Therefore, it is highly recommended to plan your trip during the cooler months. Additionally, during the winter season, migratory birds visit the region, offering a splendid experience for birdwatchers. When planning your visit, remember to pack accordingly, with lighter clothes for the day and warmer layers for the chilly evenings.
