Best Time to Visit Peace Park, Mount Abu

Nestled between two prominent Rajputana mountain peaks of the Aravalli ranges, the Peace Park in Mount Abu is a serene spot that is not only a visual delight but also a spiritual haven. The ideal time to visit Peace Park is during the cooler months of October to March, when the desert heat of Rajasthan takes a back seat, and the weather is pleasantly cool, which is perfect for exploring the outdoors. Visitors can bask in the tranquil ambiance of the park without the discomfort of the scorching sun that characterizes the region in the summer months. Mount Abu, being the only hill station in Rajasthan, serves as a refreshing escape from the heat, particularly in this timeframe.

During this peak season, you may also get the chance to participate in the Winter Festival held in the last week of December. It is a cultural extravaganza showcasing folk dances, concerts, and a grand procession that concludes at the Nakki Lake. The park itself is a part of the Brahma Kumaris spiritual establishment and is open for visitors all year round. However, visiting during the monsoon, from July to September, can also be quite enchanting as the rain-washed flora of the park is in full bloom, making the greenery lush and vibrant. Nevertheless, the prime time remains the cooler winter months when the climate is at its best for appreciating the beauty and peace of the park amidst the soothing landscapes of Mount Abu.
