Best Time To Visit Trishul Peak (Auli) In 2026

Best Time to Visit Trishul Peak, Auli, Uttarakhand, India

The most opportune time to visit Trishul Peak in Auli, which is renowned for its ski-friendly slopes and breathtaking natural beauty, is during the winter months that span from late November to March. This is when Auli is transformed into a paradise for snow sports enthusiasts, with Trishul Peak offering powdery snow perfect for skiing and snowboarding. The temperatures during these months can dip below freezing, often ranging between -4°C to 10°C, but the crisp weather and clear skies provide the most spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan range, making the chilly conditions worth enduring. Visitors are advised to pack adequately with heavy woolens, thermal wear, and snow boots to enjoy the winter activities comfortably.

For those interested in experiencing the lush greenery and vibrant flora, the summer months from April to June serve as an excellent alternative. During this period, the snow gives way to rolling green meadows, offering easier trekking opportunities and pleasant weather with temperatures ranging between 7°C to 18°C. Summer at Trishul Peak is also known for its clear views of the Nanda Devi sanctuary and other high peaks. Light woolens and waterproof trekking shoes are recommended for travelers visiting in summers. Monsoon season, which typically runs from July to October, is generally avoided by visitors due to heavy rains and possible landslides that may disrupt travel plans and outdoor activities.
