Bagore Ki Haveli is a traditional Rajasthani mansion located at the waterfront of the majestic Lake Pichola in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Dating back to the 18th century, it was built by Amir Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar. This historic palace exhibits the rich cultural heritage and architecture of the Mewar region. Renovated and restored, it now serves as a museum displaying costumes, modern art, and traditional Mewar art. The backdrop of Lake Pichola adds to its old-world charm and serenity. Evenings at Bagore Ki Haveli are particularly captivating due to the Dharohar dance performance, which showcases traditional Rajasthani dances and puppet shows in its majestic courtyard. This intricately decorated mansion boasts exquisite mirror work, paintings, glasswork, and murals, transporting visitors back to the royal era. It's a fine example of a royal abode and reflects the lavish lifestyle of the rulers of that time. The Haveli is also known for its 100 rooms, each uniquely embellished, along with its beautiful corridors, balconies, courtyards, and fountains.
