Shilpgram is a vibrant arts and crafts village located about 3 kilometers west of the city of Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, India. Spanning over 70 acres, it is set against the backdrop of the Aravalli ranges and is surrounded by natural beauty. Shilpgram serves as a living ethnographic museum to portray the lifestyles of the folk and tribal people of the West Zone. With an aim to encourage and showcase rural arts and crafts, this complex features huts from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa, each authentically constructed using traditional architectural features from their respective regions. Artisans and craftsmen from different states display and sell their work here. The place offers insight into the rural way of life and traditional performing arts. Cultural festivals and events, like the famous Shilpgram Utsav, further highlight the region's art, craft, textiles, and handicrafts, attracting visitors from across the globe.
