Hanuman Garhi is a famous temple situated at an altitude of 1950 meters in the beautiful hill station of Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the Hindu monkey god, this temple was built by Baba Neem Karoli, a famous local saint, in 1950. It offers a tranquil spiritual retreat as well as a splendid view of the setting sun. Visitors climb up to the temple via a flight of stairs, which are believed to be a test of the devotees’ dedication. The temple complex is adorned with beautiful paintings and sculptures depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. The serene atmosphere coupled with the panoramic vista of the surrounding valleys and forests make Hanuman Garhi a place for both meditation and sightseeing. Beautiful place but parking can be a problem
If you are religiously inclined then do visit it. It's a modern temple with a huge Hanuman statue. Take a driver along to help in parking since there is no parking space near the temple.

Peaceful
Located on the way to Nakuchiataal in Bhimtaal. One of the most iconic sight seeing location. The temple is surrounded by localities but once you enter in, it's very peaceful and quiet.
