Kanthanpara Waterfalls is a picturesque locale amidst the lush greenery of Wayanad, Kerala. It is relatively smaller than other falls in Wayanad, standing at about 30 meters in height. However, what it lacks in grandeur, it more than makes up for with its serene surroundings and the ease of access. Unlike more popular and larger waterfalls in the area, Kanthanpara and its surroundings are not very crowded, offering a sense of peace and privacy. The falls are surrounded by tea estates and dense forests, contributing to the tranquil atmosphere. A shallow pool at the base of the falls is suitable for wading or a casual swim. The path to Kanthanpara is well-marked, and it is a short walk from the nearest road making it suitable for families and individuals of all ages to visit. The waterfall with its surrounding greenery is a perfect spot for picnics and relaxation, as well as photography, especially during the monsoon when the waters full and lively.

Very Good

Very nice water falls. You can take a bath and even kids will also enjoy. Water level is not deep. You will definitely have fun with kids over there.
