Best Time to Visit Kanthanpara Waterfalls

The Kanthanpara Waterfalls is a serene cascade located in the lush greenery of Wayanad, Kerala. Nestled amidst the Western Ghats, it is a popular destination for nature lovers and trekkers. The best time to visit Kanthanpara Waterfalls is between the months of October and May. During this period, the monsoon rains have enriched the waterfalls, making them a spectacular sight to behold. The water flows with vigor and the surrounding vegetation is at its most vibrant, offering a breathtaking view and a tranquil experience for visitors.

Specifically, the post-monsoon months of October and November present an ideal time for visitors seeking to witness the waterfalls in their full might, avoiding the heaviest rains that can make access difficult. The weather during these months is pleasant with minimal rain, making it suitable for sightseeing and other outdoor activities in the region. However, the peak summer month of March to May can also be favorable, though the water flow might be less due to the summer heat. Nonetheless, the cooler temperatures in the highlands of Wayanad ensure that even during summer, a visit to Kanthanpara Waterfalls can be a refreshing escape from the heat of the plains.
