Lakshman Ganga River Tourism

The Lakshman Ganga River, also known as the Laxman Ganga, originates from the Hemkunt Sahib, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of over 4,000 meters above sea level in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. This sacred river flows past the revered Sikh and Hindu pilgrimage site of Hemkunt Sahib Gurudwara, dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru. The river's pristine waters are surrounded by the mighty Himalayan peaks, which are adorned with verdant meadows and diverse flora including the rare Brahma Kamal. The Lakshman Ganga is a tributary of the Alaknanda River, which eventually merges with the Bhagirathi River to form the Ganges at Devprayag.
