Nestled amidst the stunning Himalayan ranges, this holy site is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, who is said to have meditated here. Surrounded by seven snow-clad peaks and a glacial lake, Hemkund Sahib is acclaimed for its breathtaking natural beauty. The lake's crystal-clear water reflects the scenic beauty of the encircling Saptashringa peaks. The gurudwara is architecturally distinct, with a star-shaped structure adorning the landscape. The challenging trek to reach Hemkund Sahib adds to the spiritual journey for pilgrims. Given its high altitude, the area is covered in snow for most of the year and is only accessible for a few months.
