The Upper Lake, also known as Bhojtal, is one of the most iconic destinations in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Owing to the region's tropical climate, the best time to visit Upper Lake is between October and March. During these months, the weather is pleasant with minimal rainfall, making it ideal for tourists to explore the scenic beauty and partake in various water activities such as boating, kayaking, and water sailing. The temperatures range from a comfortable 10°C to 25°C, ensuring a delightful experience without the extremes of heat or cold.

Avoid visiting during the monsoon season from July to September, as the area receives heavy rainfall, which might restrict outdoor activities and sightseeing.
