Starting from June, the snow from winter begins to melt, and the valley comes alive with a vibrant spread of flora, including various species of high-altitude flowers and orchids. The Sikh shrine of Hemkunt Sahib, located at an altitude of 4,329 meters above sea level, also opens for devotees around this time. However, the best window for a visit, especially for those interested in the valley's natural beauty, would be between late August and early October. During this period, the landscape is less crowded, the monsoon has usually subsided, and the weather is clear, offering breathtaking views of the mesmerizing valley and the serene Hemkunt Sahib lake.
