Äœreat place, visit after water evaporates
It could have been the great experience if there was NO WATER. We went there during Diwali and stuck in massive traffic jam. Advise to go there 1. Avoid Diwali, New year and Kite festival timings. 2. Visit after December as water will evaporate and you can see A SEA OF WHITE RANN. 3. Take entry permission in advance, ONLINE, else you end up standing in queue, specially on festival days. 4. If not done online then there is one booth available at the T junction for HUDKO on Highway. Get it from there. Overall a great experience, you can avail motor parasailing and 4 wheel drive. Entry time restricted by 6 pm, but NO exit time specified. Observatory NOT started yet, maybe waiting to inaugurate by a special person 😊

Good for those who appreciate natural phenomenon
We were 2 families with teens visited this place. Before going there you need to understand this place is not where you will experience anything exotic. 1 famous for rann of Kutch, understand the background of why and what is happened and then you will be able to appreciate the nature and how different it is from other areas. Weather will be harsh, only pleasant from Nov to Feb. there are different tents, they provide different entertainment if you have children with you. Otherwise before going there watch YouTube videos, understand geography of that place and visit

The RANN, ethereal
The views were Amazzing. The experience was good. Tho I do believe the event is a bit exaggerated, The over all experience was good for a one time visit. For the sunrise experience, check the weather.

Must do !
Once in a lifetime experience. The views of the white salt desert are surreal. Looks like a lunar surface. Tip : Don't touch the saline water, leaves a white stain that's hard to get off.. ATV's and camel rides are available. We took a camel ride ( cost 800 for a couple , full cart) . Be ready to haggle for a good price. We spent a couple of hours to get a view of the sunset as well - great experience. It's a must do !

If given a chance don’t miss A trip to The Great Rann of Kutch. It’s a must visit once in a lifetime.
The Great Rann of Kutch - A must visit natural wonder. Far away from the city’s concrete jungles, white Rann looks amazing at sun set coupled with colourful Kutchy culture, dotted with carts and camels in multiple vibrant colours. The Government organises the Rann of Kutch festival from November to February. The best time to visit is last week of January or February.
