Located in the vast expanses of the Kutch region in Gujarat, India, is the historical Tera Fort. This fort is renowned for its architectural splendor and stands as a testament to the rich history of the region. The picturesque ruins of Tera Fort are perched atop a small hill, providing visitors with a panoramic view of the surrounding Kutch landscape. Built around the 12th century, the fort has seen numerous battles and has changed hands between various rulers. It showcases typical Kutchi designs in its architecture, with elements that echo other famous forts in Gujarat. Although now in ruins, the remains of the fort walls, bastions, and gateways still narrate the stories of a bygone era. The arid climate of Kutch and the stark beauty of its desert surroundings make Tera Fort a compelling site for history buffs and those looking for a touch of adventure.

Lovely little village
This was one of the high spots of our visit to Kuutch. It's a quiet secluded village, where time has stood still. When we arrived, there were a couple sewing bandhani under an old tree - not put on ..
