Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most prominent Sikh Gurudwaras, or Sikh houses of worship, in Delhi, India and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. It is situated near Connaught Place in the heart of the city and is a place of great religious significance for Sikhs as well as a popular attraction for visitors from around the world. The Gurudwara features a large golden dome and tall flagpole, Nishan Sahib. Originally a bungalow belonging to Raja Jai Singh, it was later transformed into a shrine as a tribute to Guru Har Krishan, who stayed here in 1664 and helped people suffering from smallpox and cholera by providing aid and fresh water from the well on the premises, which is now revered as having healing properties. The Gurudwara complex includes the Sarovar, a large holy pond, a Langar hall, where free meals are served to thousands of people every day, regardless of religion or caste, a museum dedicated to Sikh history, and a school. The serene and welcoming atmosphere of the Gurudwara offers a sense of tranquility to visitors.

Beautiful temple and grounds, majestic ceremonies, and a fun place to go get fed as well! Expect a crowd. Watch out at the washing areas, the marble gets pretty slick.
